The fresh extruded electrodes are collected on trays & staked on trolley. Each trolley will carry 80 trays (Approximate 300 Kg green electrodes). The loaded trolleys are pushed inside the drying chamber from one end , by suitable pusher, one by one with a fixed time interval. The dried electrode trolley will come out from other end of the drying chamber. The total residence time will depend on the type of electrodes to be dried. Dried electrodes can go for packing or for baking.

Hot air circulation used for drying. Heating medium can be either Electrical.

Drying chamber is humidity & temperature controlled to achieve best drying effect in shortest possible time.
Drying parameters are computer controlled.

After drying baking type electrodes are pushed in side the baking oven. Here the electrodes are baked up to 450 0C.Total baking operation is computer controlled & programmable. Baked electrodes are cooled and sent for packing.
